The greatest
recruiting source in our company is you! What, you ask? Isn’t it the job
of the Human Resources Department to find qualified applicants? Of course,
but the HR Department relies on many resources and strategies to assist in
finding staff. Newspaper classified advertising, job fairs and school
placement offices are just a few of the traditional resources we use. But
we also use nontraditional sources such as employee referrals.
I’ll bet you didn’t
know that the greatest recruiting source in the health care industry is
employee referrals. Research also suggests that people hired through
employee referrals tend to stay longer and have higher job satisfaction.
So we’re back to
the greatest recruiting source – you. Recognizing that you are our most
valuable resource in helping us find quality people, we are pleased to
promote the employee referral program called "The Inside Connection."
"The Inside
Connection" employee referral program offers you prompt cash rewards,
regular promotional incentives and public recognition for successful
referrals.
Here’s
how "The Inside Connection" works:
If you are an
active nurse (working at least 24 hours per month) and refer a qualified
nurse who is hired and placed on assignment, you can receive up to $1000
cash for a successful referral!
You will receive
$200 at the time the nurse successfully completes orientation and 80 hours
of work. You will receive another $200 after the referred nurse has
completed 160 hours of work. And you’ll get another $200 after the
referred nurse has completed 216 hours of work. Finally, you will receive
the final $400 after the referred nurse has completed a total of 280 hours
of work.
That's an easy $1000 cash for one referral!

A listing of
current opportunities is posted on our website and communicated to our
INNOVATIONS' nurses through "recruiting flyers" that are periodically
mailed out.
