On
June 6th,
INNOVATIONS
participated in the
NurseWeek Career Fair at Laurel Manor in Livonia; this event is
held on an annual
basis, exclusively for Registered Nurses.
INNOVATIONS’
representatives had the opportunity to meet with hundreds of
qualified potential applicants to discuss career interests and
opportunities.
INNOVATIONS
was joined by
thirty-five other exhibitors (healthcare facilities, agencies
and educational institutions) from Michigan and across the
nation.
In past years, nurses seemed
most interested in pursuing opportunities in occupational health
and in home care environments. This year's trend seemed to be
centered around interest in acute care settings; definitely good
news for the hospitals and clinics.
Additionally, we met and talked with a lot of retired nurses who
(because of the economic downturn) have returned to the
workforce in pursuit of part-time employment options.
This year's event was, as always a
tremendous success. We spoke with many nurses who are interested
in pursuing agency work---and they are looking to
INNOVATIONS, because of the positive reputation we
enjoy in the marketplace.
Thank you to all of the
nurses working with INNOVATIONS who continue to
move our reputation and name forward.
Thank you!
