In the very near future, INNOVATIONS will be processing our identification badges (name tags) in-house. This change will enable us to feature employee pictures on all ID badges and will result in a faster turn around time. Adding our employee pictures to our IDs is a huge advantage for us, as it will help us help our clients meet their JACHO requirements. We will be implementing a variety of strategies to get photos of all active nurses; visiting client facilities during shift change and taking pictures, holding an open house during National Nurse Week, where we can take pictures of attendees, and clicking the camera during their occasional stops at our Brighton and Allen Park offices.

Look for the new photo ID badge in early May.

For those of you that haven’t had the “pleasure” of meeting me, my name is Adam Smith and I am the Webmaster for INNOVATIONS. It has recently come to my attention that the majority of our employees do not know/understand many of the benefits and services available to everyone on our website, located at http://www.hcinnov.com. I’d like to briefly explain some of the site’s lesser-known options for our staff’s convenience. If you have ever searched the keyboard for the “Any Key” or used the CD drive as an ejectable cup holder, you may want to talk to me in person about our website, otherwise keep reading and take notes.

If you have been inactive for the last 6 months and are interested in reactivating, we will sweeten the deal: between March 1st and July 1st, we will pay you up to $500 for reactivating.

This equals up to $43/hr.

referrals will net you $1000 per RN referral

CRITERIA:

  1. You must be an active HCI employee at the time of the referral and at the time of referral bonus disbursement. Active is defined as working an average of 24 hours in the current or preceding month.
  2. Your name must be on the application or nurse preference form to be eligible for the bonus.
  3. Referred nurse must complete new hire processing and be accepted for a per diem or contract position.
  • $200 after the completion of orientation and 80 hours worked.
  • $200 after the completion of 160 hours
  • $200 after the completion of 216 hours
  • $400 after the completion of 280 hours

On July 2nd, the referral program will revert back to $500 per referral.

  • $19,760 for 40hrs for 13 weeks at $38/hr
  • $3,000 completion bonus

INNOVATIONS Invites You...

In celebration of Nurses Week, INNOVATIONS is hosting an open house in your honor on Wednesday, May 8, 2002, from 9am to 5pm at both our Allen Park and Brighton Offices. Be prepared for an enjoyable event including, food, prizes,

networking opportunities and to pick up a gift certificate in the amount of $35 to be used towards a BCLS, ACLS or any other educational course that you choose. Also, at the open house, you will be able to update the required annual OSHA testing, receive Hep B/TB tests and complete any other administrative activities.

In addition, we are planning to kick off our new name badge project by photographing you at the open house. We are hopeful that we will be able to have new name badges featuring your picture by the end of next month. We are looking forward to seeing you on May 8, 2002. Licenses

As you already know, on March 31st, many nursing licenses expired. To remain an active employee, please fax us your updated license to your Staffing Coordinators at 800-476-2066.
