Health Care INNOVATIONS works
with each clients' scheduling system. We believe this is the best way to
develop a program designed to meet the unique needs of each client. Our
ability to provide flexible scheduling allows us to help clients that
schedule on a day-to-day basis, and those that prefer to schedule 4 to 13
weeks at a time. In the past, we have been successful in scheduling term
positions, per diem shifts, and on call positions.
Term Contract positions provide for the same nurse in a particular
unit for a predetermined number of hours over a specified number of weeks. A
term position is best utilized to cover leave of absences and positions that
remain vacant over an extended period of time.
Per Diem shifts may
be scheduled on a daily basis or in advance and can be cancelled with two
hours notice from either party. Per diem positions provide for coverage of
spontaneous staffing needs due to call-ins, etc.
On-Call is
arranged in the same manner as per diem, with the nurse remaining available
for the sudden needs of the client. This is best utilized at a particular
point in time when staffing decisions are being made and the outcome of
census, acuity, and staffing dynamics are unclear. It allows for
spontaneous, guaranteed coverage at a greatly reduced cost to the hospital.
Historically, Health Care INNOVATIONS has successfully filled 90% of its
term position and 80% of its per diem contracted business. Our attendance
rate exceeds 90% and we commit to a response time of less than ten minutes
for all requests received.
