Who Are We?

INNOVATIONS provides nursing and nursing management services in a variety of settings. Our nurses can be found in hospitals, doctor's offices, manufacturing facilities, schools, retirement communities and our client's homes.

The INNOVATIONS'  family of companies was formally incorporated in January of 1991. We have since become known as the Leaders in Nursing Excellence and serve all of the major health care providers in the state of Michigan. INNOVATIONS Occupational Health Services has recently received several new contracts with automotive companies and suppliers and plans to expand its supplemental staffing services to include industry, educational institutions and entertainment facilities.

Occupational Health Services helps companies develop cost-effective programs that provide them with the type of highly-qualified staff they need to operate their on-site clinics.  INNOVATIONS handles the scheduling, preventative evaluations, pre-employment screening and post injury screening and evaluations. Our staff ensures strict compliance with OSHA and MIOSHA guidelines and we are JCAHO compliant. We can also provide OSHA training and assist clients in meeting JCAHO standards.

Our supplemental staffing resource pool currently includes over 450 professional nurses who possess an average of over nine years of experience in their specialty. INNOVATIONS is currently the largest provider of temporary nurses to Michigan hospitals and health care institutions and this same staff is available through Occupational Health Services.

Many of our nurses have specialized in industrial nursing and have emergency, acute care and triage experience. Because we are noted for our highly-credentialed, specialty care registered nurses, our clients don’t have to compromise quality to obtain cost-effective solutions.

In addition to OSHA training, we also provide training on specific Occupational, Health and Safety Information Systems used by our clients.

Occupational Health Services works closely with physicians, nurse managers and/or occupational coordinators to manage staffing challenges due to such concerns as:

Leaves of Absence

Vacations and absence due to illness

Family and Medical Leave Act compliance

Budget constraints

Temporary staffing during recruitment for permanent staff

We are currently providing supplemental staff for industrial clinics at Ford Motor Company, Detroit Energy, Michigan Truck, American Axle, Visteon and other occupational clients.
